As we say goodbye and God-speed to Addie, A member of our countries GREATEST GENERATION. We reflect back on our own mothers and fathers. She comes from a time when tough love was the key to survival. She called it like she saw it, never pulling any punches. A kind and loving mother and Matriarch, and quick to tell you what she thought. Always eager to hear a salty joke or to tell one. She reminds us of our own mother and mother-in-law. We remember giving her a step stool to dust the top of her refrigerator. We told her " if you fall off of this WE'LL KILL YOU". Addie was cut from the same cloth.
Good bye FRIEND we'll miss you. And some day we will enjoy each others company again.
