Obituary of Michal Karbowski

Michal Karbowski, age 34, of Shelton, died February 15, 2017 at St. Vincent’s Medical Center, Bridgeport. Born in Augustow, Poland, on June 19, 1982, he was the beloved son of the late Ryszard Karbowski and Lilia Kuklinska Karbowska of Shelton. Mr. Karbowski was a longtime resident of Shelton and 2001 graduate of Shelton High School. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the Bridgeport Hospital School of Nursing, and fulfilled his dream by working as a Registered Nurse. He enjoyed working with his hands and applied his talent as a stone mason. Mr. Karbowski was an avid car enthusiast and will be long remembered for the love of his family and passion to help others in need. In addition to his mother, he is survived by sisters, Emilia (Lukasz) Mysliwiec of Trumbull and Anna (Adam) Guida of North Carolina; brothers, Rafal (Marzena) Karbowski of Shelton, Tomasz (Aneta) Karbowski of Virginia, and Pawel (Alexa) Karbowski of Michigan; cherished nieces, Maya Mysliwiec of Trumbull and Isabella Guida of North Carolina; and cherished nephew, Dylan Mysliwiec of Trumbull. A Mass of Christian Burial, Meeting Directly at Church, will be Celebrated at 10:00 AM on Saturday, February 18, 2017, in St. Michael Church, 75 Derby Avenue, Derby, CT. Interment will take place in Poland. Family and friends may call on Friday, February 17, 2017, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the Wakelee Memorial Funeral Home, 167 Wakelee Avenue, Ansonia, CT.
