Obituary of Jacquelyn Ann Kisyk

Jacquelyn Ann Clark Kisyk, age 63 of Seymour, died peacefully at home on December 18, 2016. Born in New Haven on March 20, 1953, she was the daughter of the late Elizabeth Maher Clark. Ms. Kisyk was a graduate of the Eli Whitney- Hospital of St. Raphael School of Nursing and continued to work in the hospital for 33 years as a Licensed Practical Nurse. For the past 9 years, she worked for the Cornell-Scott-Hill Health Center of Ansonia and was also employed at the Marshall Lane Manor Healthcare Center for many years. A valley resident for over 40 years, Ms. Kisyk was a former volunteer and committee member of Boy Scout Troop 3 of Derby. She enjoyed summers on the New Jersey Shore and will be long remembered for her devotion to her family and her care for her patients. She is survived by her cherished grandchildren, Luke and Julianna Camara of Derby; her beloved children, Meagan Camara of Derby; Dennis P. Kisyk, Jr. and his fiancé Alison Cuffari of New York, NY; her twin sister, Shirley Clark Silverstein and her husband, Mark Silverstein, M.D. of NJ; her brother, Rich Clark and his wife Allison Clark of Guilford. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her beloved son-in-law, Armando Camara, Jr. Funeral services will take place on Thursday, December 22, 2016 at 9:00 AM from the Wakelee Memorial Funeral Home, 167 Wakelee Avenue, Ansonia. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 10:00 AM in St. Mary Church, 212 Elizabeth Street, Derby. Interment will be private in St. Agnes Cemetery, Branford. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday, December 21, 2016, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM.
