Obituary of Marjorie Ann Ryback

RYBACK – Marjorie Ann Ryback, age 79 of Ansonia, wife of the late Richard Ryback, died suddenly in her home on September 15, 2015. Born in Bridgeport on October 25, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Margaret Poklemba Pendagast, and was a graduate of Central High School, Bridgeport. Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Ryback worked as a clerk at Bridgeport Hospital for 5 years and was previously a secretary for 15 years at General Electric, formerly of Bridgeport. She is survived by her daughters, Karen Taylor of San Francisco and Kathleen (Fernando) Alvites of Bridgeport; sister, Elizabeth Janusz of Ansonia; brother, Tom Pendagast of Stratford; grandchildren, Stephanie Papcun of Seymour, Jerry, Jessica and Christopher Rynich of Milford, Andrea and Seth Alvites of Bridgeport; great-grandchildren, Zoie and Devin Ortiz of Seymour. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2015, at 7:00 PM in the Wakelee Memorial Funeral Home, 167 Wakelee Ave., Ansonia. Interment will be private.
