I want to thank all of you for the wonderful condolences. Hearing your memories is a way for us to be with Dave again, even if only in memory and in our hearts. We've been going through our many pictures of Dave and are putting together an iMovie with music for the reception after the memorial. I hope many of you can come.
I'm glad Dave had so many good friend and good times in his life. His loss is felt keenly by all of us and your kind words are a great comfort.

Cindy, Pam and Bob,
We were saddened to read of David's death in the Darien paper. We have fond memories of the Marvelwood School days and of course Mansfield Avenue where Rick and David grew up together. Those boys did get up to some interesting tricks, like the tower of picnic tables at Royle School.
We are thinking of you all and send our condolences.

Dave will truly be missed. He was a good friend and I enjoyed playing poker at his house, although we had not played in a few years now. I so admired his independence and his will to keep moving forward. I worked with Dave for many years at Sikorsky and he was always one to help me out when I needed his expertise. My prayers are with him and the family members he leaves behind.

Dear Bob, CIndy and Pam,
How very sorry I am to learn of David's passing. I read the obituary, which was a lovely tribute, in the Darien Times.
I live in NYC and will try to get up for the service on the 28th.
In the meantime, my thoughts and prayers are with you all.
With fondness,
Nan

I was very sadden to hear of Dave's passing. I had the privilege of working with and supervising Dave at Sikorsky's for two or three years. He always amazed me with his enthusiasm and upbeat and can do attitude. The house he designed and lived in is a tribute to his independence and creative thinking. I'm sorry that I cannot attend Dave's funeral, but will keep Dave in my thoughts and prayers.
Sincerely,
Jim Patchkofsky

Dave was my "cube-mate" when he first came to Sikorsky. We sat together for several years. We've always stayed in touch and I was saddened when he was fired from his job at Sikorsky by the totally inconsiderate obnoxious boss he had.
Dave was a Great Guy to work with. I was the person that gave him rides to and from work and to go grocery shopping when he totaled his car. Dave was the person that brought me work to my home when I was laid up with my torn ACL. What an
adventure that was. He'd pull up in his car, I'd hobble out of the house on crutches with two beers to the end of my patio, he'd get out of his car, wheel up to the bottom step, and hand me my daily assignments, I'd hand him a beer, We'd discuss work, and he'd leave and I'd hobble back into the house. Two "handicapped" guys working together at their best.
We both ALWAYS laughed at that experience, while working for A GREAT BOSS at Sikorsky Aircraft, Jim Patchkovsky.
