Climb Upon a Crown
Daniel our hearts weep because you will no longer stop by for tea. you were a real friend, uplifting, supportive, thoughtful, and your presence a grace. Your compliments for my writings and my self will forever be embedding in my heart. I will not disappoint you. Missing you so much.
Climb on a crown
And half way down
The center is found
Go away for a day
Enlightened as you may
No more chains to be bound
Create a curl
Wisdom intertwirled
For casing the world

My heartfelt condolences to the family of Daniel Waleski. So sorry for your loss. The Bible refers to death as mankind's enemy. (1Corinthians 15:26) But we can draw comfort in the fact, death will soon be no more for God's word promises, "He (God) will actually Swallow Up Death Forever..." (Isaiah 25:8) God has even promised a time when we will see our dead loved ones again. Isaiah 26:19 assures us, "Your Dead Ones Will Live. Awake and cry out joyfully you Residents In the Dust!..." May these promises from God bring you hope and give you peace. With deepest sympathy, Regina Jones

I had the privilege of knowing Dan for many years. He was always a gentleman,a true patriot and exceptional citizen. He was also very proud to be a WWII veteran, a member of a very, very special generation. I had many discussions with him during my time as a reporter in the Valley. He was always knowledgeable about the issues, passionate about the city of Derby and loved being a part of it. I am so saddened about his passing. He was just a wonderful person and he will be missed. My condolences to his family and friends.

Dan was a natural life force that chose to help and serve the City of Derby. He walked 1000's of miles serving as a one man survey crew in the City. He gave directions to people that asked, he explained why the referendum was needed or not. He explained why the Board of Education was requesting items some didn't understand. In my time he walked passed almost ever City construction site with a critical eye. He spoke to every board in the city to bring something to their attention and he even reminded them that occasionally the decision needed to be reconsidered. He was brusque, businesslike, professional as befits his education and training. He was a good and decent man who lived his life the best way he knew how. He smiled, he had a sense of humor and was genuine. I'm sorry to see him pass he was a man who many saw as the Derby Guy .......I'LL MISS YOU DAN NO MATTER WHERE I GO I'VE NEVER MET ANOTHER LIKE YOU
