I knew Shirley as one of my aunt's dearest friends. She was always smiling and full of warmth. I also had the opportunity to see her in the workplace. As a patient, I knew all my needs would be taken care of. She handled all aspects of her job and I always knew problems would be corrected if I spoke with Shirley directly. She was an asset in all avenues of her life. My deepest sympathies to her entire family and all who knew and loved her.

Shirley was a Dear Family Friend and a close friend of my mother Janice for many years. What I remember most about Shirley is how she took an interest in us (when we were kids.) She loved being apart of our family milestones and brought little gifts and plenty of hugs throughout the years. She had a huge heart and would always offer to help anyone... in her family, ours or community. She was a one of kind, funny and down to earth lady who loved people and life. My condolences are with her family.

Shirley was a warm, loving, kind, generous and compassionate person who always had a smile for everyone. I especially remember the love and kindness she shared with my mom during the many times they visited. My deepest sympathies to Shirley's family on her passing.

I was so sorry to read of your mother's passing. She lived in my house on North Avenue, Derby, with your grandmother for many years. She was a wonderful person and tenant and I was so sorry to see her leave. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this sad time. With deepest sympathy in your loss. Warmly, Barbara Jean Garofalo
