My sympathy to all of the family; Georgia and family, all of the nieces from Conn. Florida. Just learned of her passing; lived on Sunset Drive as a child grew up with Tom, Bob and Mr. Mrs Marchulitis our neighbors up the street. We were 148 and they were 185 Sunset. Moved back shortly after getting married for a while and couldn't beleive how Mrs Marchulitis had not changed at all. Remembered me by name and spoke in that same voice that brought me back many years. She was so warm and kind to everyone throughout her life. God Bless Her always. Truly a remarkable person. When I was a little girl, 3 years old, I flew from Germany with my Mom, Dad and 3 sisters to the U S A in 1949. Aunt Tessie with the other Ansonia Aunt and couisons paid the air fare. We were displaced persons because of the 2nd World War. Tessie and others took us in with open arms and hearts. During my years Tessie was always there to help when needed. These last 6 years I'd visit Tessie every week. We talked about old times and the not so old times. I really got to know her very well. I'll miss my Monday mornings with Tess. I'd bring the Dunkin Donuts coffee (she loved Dunkin coffee) She would tell me all the old stories about Pennsylvania and how she came to Ansonia, Ct. when she was 15 years old. I'll miss you Tess. Love you Ruthe

You were the best Grandma#1. I will cherish the memories of spending the summers with you and the 4th of July picnics with the family. Great times we had. I am going to miss our phone calls. You always had encouraging words for me..."keep your chin up Princess". Now you are with my mom, grandpa, Uncle Tom & Bobby and your family. I know this is what you wanted. You are going to be missed so much. I love you..Princess#1

Aunt Tess was one of my two favorite aunts and will be missed by all that knew her. Although I haven't seen her in years, her picture reminds me that there is no mistaking that she's my mom's sister. Now that she's joined her other two sisters in Heaven, they can all go shopping again... the family driver has finally arrived! May she rest in peace.
