Richard's kindness and his keen wit and his vast store of jokes and impersonations brightened our lives. His musical talent, as master of ceremonies and bandleader of the Sky Larks, as well as his performances on drums, organ and piano, honed at Julliard, added many delightful memories to our times together. A World War II veteran who served over the South Atlantic, he was an honored member of the greatest generation. He was a loving husband and a great brother-in-law. We'll miss you, Richard. Go Notre Dame.
