Obituary of Leszek Zak

ZAK- Leszek Zak, age 39, of Shelton, died February 21, 2010 at St. Vincent Hospital following a long illness. Born in Poland on July 6, 1970, he was the son of the late Feliks Zak and Irena Fabisiak Zak Holub of Seymour. Mr. Zak was a longtime resident of Shelton and construction worker until the time of his illness. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his step-father, Kazimierz Holub of Seymour; his maternal grandmother, Agnieszka Fabisiak of Shelton; devoted brothers and sisters, Maria Zygaldo and her husband, Krzysztof of Seymour, Bogdan Zak and his wife, Margaret of Oxford, Renata Figueroa and her husband, Enrique of Seymour, and Agnes Crisanti and her husband, Keith of Ansonia; also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will take place from the Wakelee Memorial Funeral Home, 167 Wakelee Ave., Ansonia, on Tuesday, February 23, 2009 at 9:00 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Michael Church, 75 Derby Ave., Derby, at 10:00 AM. Interment will directly follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Derby.
