Obituary of Frances Marie Ginicola
Frances Marie Ginicola, age 96 of Monroe, beloved wife of the late John Joseph Ginicola, died peacefully on October 24, 2022 at the Maefair Health Care Center, Trumbull, with her family by her side. Born in Bridgeport on December 10, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Josephine Zumbo. Mrs. Ginicola was a homemaker and Monroe resident of 40 years. Her family was her passion, she enjoyed cooking her Italian specialties and made every holiday a feast to be savored. She enjoyed fancy cars, fashionable clothing and glitz & glamour! She will be long remembered for her devout Catholic Faith and for her special love for her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her devoted children, Carmella Krajewski of Trumbull and Michael (Norma) Ginicola of Seymour; cherished grandchildren, Kendal Krajewski of Monroe, Scott Krajewski of Fairfield, Michael Krasowski, Jr. of Naugatuck, Deanna Ginicola of Middletown and Julianne Koss of Cheshire; great-grandchildren, Sgt. Giani Krajewski, USMC, Noah Biggar and Hudson Koss; as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband of over 40 years & WWII Veteran, John J. Ginicola, she was predeceased by a son, John Ginicola; daughter, Doreen Salerno; grandson, Jeremiah Krasowski and son-in-law, Thomas Krajewski. Funeral services will take place on Monday, October 31, 2022 at 9:00 AM from the Wakelee Memorial Funeral Home, 167 Wakelee Avenue, Ansonia. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM in Holy Rosary Church, 10 Father Salemi Dr., Ansonia. Interment will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford.
