Obituary of Luciana Fabiano

Luciana Galante Fabiano, age 89 of Derby, died peacefully on July 10, 2022, in the comfort of her home, surrounded by her family.  Born in Torre de Passeri, Province of Pescara, Abruzzo, Italy on February 25, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Gaetano and Maria Palmira Baldassare Galante.  Mrs. Fabiano immigrated to the United States and has resided in Derby for 45 years.  Mrs. Fabiano was a successful, self-employed real estate investor and also a seamstress, working in fashion and design.  She enjoyed her weekly trips to the casinos and playing her daily lottery tickets. She is survived by her devoted daughter, Anna Maria Fabiano of Derby; son, Alessandro Fabiano; a sister, Luisa Wilber of Derby; and a nephew Freddy Angelino.  The main thing that made her smile was talking and spending time with her twin grandchildren, Antonio Crone and Tiana Luciana Fabiano-Crone, both of Arizona; and Kyle and Larissa Fabiano of Texas.  A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, July 13, 2022 at Holy Rosary Church, 10 Father Salemi Drive, Ansonia.
