Obituary of Sandra S. Waldron

Sandra Phyllis (Sharron) Waldron, age 80, of Seymour, passed away peacefully on July 6th surrounded by her loving children.  Born on May 14, 1942 in Derby, she was the daughter of the late Ralph Phillip and Julia Agnes (Bruenig) Smith, and was predeceased by her former spouse, Raymond Sharron.  Sandy spent many years as a homemaker and stay at home mom raising her four children before working at a local grocery store, as a bank teller, and later as a CNA at a local nursing home.  Sandy enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, talking on the phone with her sister Gayle, and in her yard looking at the flowers. She is survived by her four loving children, daughter Deborah Sadlowski and her husband Mark of Seymour, son Matthew Sharron of Seymour, son Kenneth Sharron and his wife Anne-Marie of Oxford, and daughter Michele Sharron of Plainville.  She also leaves her four cherished grandchildren, Katrina, Tyler, Kyle, and Julia; her sister Judith Gayle Carroll of Sarasota, Florida; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.  Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 13, 2022 at 6:30 PM in the Wakelee Memorial Funeral Home, 167 Wakelee Avenue, Ansonia.  Interment will be private. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4:00 to 6:30 PM, prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.  Online condolences may be made at www.wakeleememorial.com.
