Obituary of Cynthia Teran

Cynthia Teran, age 39 of Waterbury, died tragically in Stamford on October 17, 2021, as a result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident.  Born in Latacunga, Ecuador on March 28, 1982, she was the beloved daughter of Jorge A. Teran of Derby and Elsa Jacome of Moodus.  Miss Teran immigrated to the United States in 1998 with her family and was a longtime resident of Derby and Waterbury.  In addition to parents, she is survived by her paternal grandmother, Maria Teresa Espinosa of Ecuador; brothers, Jorge A. Teran of Moodus and John Teran of Ecuador; as well as her cherished canine companions, Bebe & Snoopy.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 30, 2021 at 5:00 PM in the Wakelee Memorial Funeral Home, 167 Wakelee Avenue, Ansonia.  Interment will be private.  Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday afternoon from 4:00 to 7:00 PM.  Online condolences may be made at www.wakeleememorial.com.

Nació en Latacunga, Ecuador el 28 de Marzo de 1982, hija adorada de Jorge A Terán de Derby y Elsa Jácome de Moodus. La señorita Terán imigró a los Estados Unidos en 1998 con us familia y fue residente de Derby y Waterbury. En adición a sus padre, quedan sobrevientes su abuela de parte de padre, Maria Teresa Espinosa del Ecuador; sus hermanos John Terán del Ecuador y Jorge A. Terán de Moodus.
