Obituary of William Demsky

DEMSKY- William Frederick Demsky, age 60, of Seymour, died suddenly in his home on August 29, 2009. Born in Derby on June 27, 1949, he was the beloved son of Anna Zopko Demsky of Middlebury and the late Alfred Otto Demsky. Mr. Demsky was a lifelong resident of Seymour and a 1968 graduate of Seymour High School. He worked as a machinist for the R&R Manufacturing Co., was an avid fisherman and loved animals. In addition to his mother, he is survived by a sister, Janice Anzalone and her husband, Vito of Middlebury; a niece, Caitlin Anzalone of Watertown; cousins, Dawn Berry of Ansonia and Dee Minton of NJ, his devoted companion of 10 years, Victoria Bebon of Seymour and his former spouse, Ann D. Demsky of Naugatuck. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, September 2, 2009 at 9:15 AM from the Wakelee Memorial Funeral Home, 167 Wakelee Ave., Ansonia. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Sts. Peter and Paul Church, 105 Clifton Ave., Ansonia, at 10:00 AM. Interment will be in Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Derby. Family and friends may call on Tuesday, September 1, 2009 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM.
