Obituary of Heng Inthapanhya

Heng Inthapanhya, age 69, beloved husband of Osa Inthavongsa Inthapanhya of Bridgeport, died peacefully on December 26, 2020 at home, surrounded by his family.  Born in Seno, Laos on May 4, 1951, he was the son of the late Siam and Pang Inthapanhya.  Mr. Inthapanhya immigrated to the United States in 1979 and settled in Bridgeport where he has since resided.  He worked as a mechanic for the Sikorsky Aircraft Co. of Stratford for 20 years, until the time of his illness.  He will be long remembered as a devoted husband, a caring father and grandfather.  In addition to his wife of 46 years, he is survived by his children, Christina Inthapanhya of Oxford, Osavanh Inthapanhya of Bridgeport and Diana (Jami) Inthapanhya-Jones of Oxford; cherished grandchildren, Samantha Inthapanhya of Milford, Thi-Lei Inthapanhya of Shelton, Osavanhn Inthapanhya, Jr. of Shelton, Angel Inthapanhya of Shelton, Kali Jones of Oxford and Khari Jones of Oxford.  Family and friends are invited to attend a walk-through visitation at the Wakelee Memorial Funeral Home, 167 Wakelee Avenue, Ansonia, from 9:00 to 11:30 AM on Thursday, December 31, 2020.
