Obituary of Margaret Kuziak

KUZIAK-Margaret Mique L. Kuziak, age 75 of Waterbury, beloved wife of the late Joseph Kuziak, died October 25, 2007, in her home surrounded by her family. Born in Hartford on February 18, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Edward P. and Margaret Colbert Sharp. Mrs. Kuziak was a long time resident of Seymour before moving to Waterbury 2 years ago. She worked as a Registered Nurse for many years at the Gardner Heights Health Care Center of Shelton, before retiring in 1987. Mrs. Kuziak was a lifelong Yankees fan, enjoyed Scrabble, Pinochle, board games, reading, and anything Disney. Her greatest joy was being surrounded by her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her devoted children, Tad Kuziak and his wife, Vicki of Avon, Brett Kuziak and his wife, Bonnie of Oxford, Robin Laskarzewski and her husband, Stephen of Oakville, Rhonda Hillman and her husband, Jack, of Seymour, and Raquel Scully and her husband Kevin, Shelton; brothers, Arthur Glynn Sharp of Rocky Hill, Brian and Duane Sharp both of East Hartford; a sister, Roberta Duzak of Windsor locks; and 12 cherished grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a brother, Terence Sharp and sisters, Donna Murphy, Patricia Cavanaugh and Alana Mary Sharp. Funeral Services will take place on Monday, October 29, 2007 at 9:15 AM from the Wakelee Memorial Funeral Home, 167 Wakelee Avenue, Ansonia. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Augustine Church, 35 Washington Avenue, Seymour, at 10:00 AM. Interment will be private.
