Obituary of Mary L. Jones

Mary Louise Jones, age 70 of Waterbury, beloved wife of the late Joseph Jones, died June 30, 2020 at Waterbury Hospital, surrounded by her family. Born in Waterbury on August 9, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Irving and Elizabeth Pollock Seeley. Mrs. Jones was a lifelong resident of Waterbury and worked as a machine operator for the former Lakewood Metals Co. Often found on her front porch with a coffee and cigarette, she was famous for “telling stories” (or tall tales). She will be long remembered as a loving mother and grandmother. Mrs. Jones is survived by her devoted children, Dorothy Kulikauskas, Joseph Juliano, Jr., Lisa Juliano and Irving (Sherrie) Juliano, all of Waterbury; a brother John Seeley of Waterbury; 15 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her first husband, Joseph Juliano, Sr., a sister, Barbara Vincenzi; brothers, William (Snapper) Seeley, Irving (Snookie) Seeley and Jimmy Seeley; grandson, Joseph Kulikauskas and a great-grandson, Ty-Ty Juliano. A Memorial Service will take place on Friday, July 10, 2020 at 6:30 PM in the Wakelee Memorial Funeral Home, 167 Wakelee Avenue, Ansonia.
