Obituary of Loretta P. Gallett

Loretta P. Gallett age 97 of Ansonia, died peacefully on February 18, 2020 at the Apple Rehab-Shelton Lakes Health Care Center, Shelton. Born in Ansonia on December 7, 1922, she was the daughter of the late John and Theodosia Stetz Perta. Mrs. Gallett was a graduate of Ansonia High School and worked as a Key Punch Operator in the Computer Department of the Farrel Corporation, until the time of her retirement. She was a lifelong member of Sts. Peter and Paul Greek Catholic Ukrainian Church of Ansonia. Mrs. Gallett is survived by nieces, Doris Struthers of FL and Stephanie (Francis) Sunderlin of NY; great niece, Tammy Sunderlin of NY and great nephew, Christopher Sunderlin of NY and great-great nephews Cole, Marc and Paul Sunderlin of NY. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her beloved son, James Gallett; a niece, Barbara Petryshyn; brothers, Samuel, Julius, and Stephan Perta and sisters, Paraska Perta, Anna Petryshyn, Christine Perta and Eva Hlywa. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated in Sts. Peter and Paul Church, 105 Clifton Avenue, Ansonia. Interment will follow in Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Derby.
