Obituary of Maria Fama

FAMA- Maria Rose Fama, age 80, beloved wife of Nicholas J. Fama of Ansonia, died April 28, 2009 at the Birmingham Health Care Center, Derby. In addition to her husband of 57 years, she is survived by her devoted children, Sebastian and Anthony Fama and Adele Buyak; eight cherished grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will take place on Saturday, May 2, 2009 at 9:15 AM from the Wakelee Memorial Funeral Home, 167 Wakelee Ave., Ansonia. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Sts. Peter and Paul Church, 105 Clifton Ave., Ansonia, at 10:00 AM. Interment will be in Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Derby. Family and Friends may call on Friday, May 1, 2009, from 4:00 to 7:00PM.
