She was an avid reader of murder mysteries and loved crime dramas on TV. We all knew not to call on Sundays when her beloved Patriots were on or the Nascar races. She had many passions including, bingo, smoking, seek a word, hamburgers, and getting together with the girls and was extremely proud of her Native American Heritage. Jean could be seen at many Pop Warner games cheering on her granddaughters cheerleading and dance squads. She was so happy to be able to attend her 50th nursing school reunion and to attend a special wedding. We all knew her to be feisty and cantankerous, but we will remember her for her generosity, kind heart and compassion. She will be missed dearly by her family and a very long list of friends. The family would like to thank the staff at Gardner Heights for their compassionate care. A Memorial Service will be held in the Anglican Church of the Resurrection, 6 Church St., Ansonia on Saturday, October 11, 2008 at 4:00 PM.
