Obituary of Nang Ngaopraseut

Nang Ngaopraseut, passed away peacefully early Sunday morning, March 15, 2015 at home at age of 79 surrounded by her loved ones. She was the wife of Nhoth Ngaopraseut for fifty-nine years. Nang was born December 6, 1935, in Banthinphia, Vientiane, Laos, a daughter of late the Thitthong and Saosoudy Sengchankham. When the communist took over Laos, she made the decision that ensured her family's future. With one unselfish act, she left her country in 1979 to America in hope of giving her children a better future. She laboriously worked as an Electro-mechanical assembler at U.S. Surgical for 25 years to support her family. She was a great inspiration to her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be missed dearly. She survived by her husband; Nhoth, 2 daughters; Roslyn Morse and Phong Lamphan Ngaopraseut, and 5 sons; Phong Ngaopraseut, Bo Ngaopraseut, Chan Ngaopraseutsack, Pon Praseutsack, and Phoxay Ngaopraseutsack. She also left behind 16 grandchildren: Kim and Bobby Morse, Nong, Phet, Phukong, Nick Ngaopraseutsack, Eric Ngaopraseut, Lian and Amy Ngaopraseut, Emily, Austin, and Malena Ngaopraseutsack, Lance and Kristo Praseutsack, and Cassidy and Cody Ngaopraseutsack. Funeral Services will take place on Saturday, March 21, 2015 at 1:00 to 3:00 PM in the Wakelee Memorial Funeral Home, 167 Wakelee Avenue, Ansonia. Final prayers will be offered at Oak Grove Crematory, West Haven, at 3:30pm. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Friday, March 20, 2015, from 5:00 to 7:00PM.
