Obituary of Anne D. Sember
SEMBER- Anne D. Sember, age 88 of Derby, beloved wife of the late George S. Sember, died peacefully on January 7, 2015 at the CT Hospice, Branford. Born in Derby on July 1, 1926, she was the daughter of the late George and Susan Hajduk Dudik, Sr. Mrs. Sember was a lifelong Derby resident and homemaker. Her family was everything to her; she will be long remembered for her special love she gave to all. Mrs. Sember is survived by her devoted daughters, Susan P. Tonucci and her husband, Frank of Oxford and Laura Brickett of Derby; sisters, Eileen Rogucki of Shelton and Dorothy Stevens of Seymour; cherished grandchildren, Jamie Haight of VA, Robert Brickett of Ansonia, Sally Pierro of Derby, and David Tonucci of Southbury; cherished great-grandchildren, Carl Jeffrey (C.J.) and Cooper Haight of VA, Shea, Jordan and Madison Brickett of Ansonia, and Louis, Vincenzo, Gina and Giuliana Pierro of Derby; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sisters, Mary Pesta and Margaret Krilivsky and a brother, George Dudik, Jr. A Mass of Christian Burial (meeting directly at church) will be Celebrated at 10:30 AM on Saturday, January 10, 2015, in St. Joseph Church, 424 Coram Avenue, Shelton. Interment will follow in Mount St. Peter Cemetery, Derby. Memorial contributions may be made to the CT Hospice, 100 Double Beach Road, Branford, CT 06405.
