Obituary of Barbara Jean Miller

MILLER- Barbara Jean Duffy Miller, age 83, of Farmington, CT, beloved wife of the late Joseph H. Miller, died peacefully surrounded by her family at Amber Woods of Farmington. Born in Tarrytown, NY on May 26, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Phillip and Dorothea Duffy of Tarrytown, NY. Mrs. Miller received an Associate’s Degree from Green Mountain College, VT and pursued a Bachelor’s Degree from Bucknell University, PA. She is survived by her devoted children, Deborah Abraham and her husband, James of Bloomfield and Christopher Miller and his wife Holly of Shelton; cherished grandsons, Joseph and James Abraham, Jr. and Stephen and Andrew Miller. In addition to her husband of 46 years, she was predeceased by a sister, Phyllis Glassman, of Hastings-on-Hudson, NY. Private graveside services and interment will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Montrose, NY. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Hospital in honor of her brief career as a medical technician for children with cancer.
