Obituary of Mildred Wailonis

WAILONIS- Mildred Wailonis, age 93, of Ansonia, beloved wife of the late Charles A. Wailonis, died peacefully in her home on July 10, 2014. Born in Ansonia, CT on January 4, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Jacob and Christina Michta Telep. Mrs. Wailonis was a lifelong resident of Ansonia, home maker and Communicant of St. Anthony’s Church. She is survived by her devoted children, Charles A. Wailonis, Jr. and Christine Wailonis, both of Ansonia; several nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers, Michael and Joseph Telep and sisters, Ann Telep, Eva Sampieri and Helen Jelasko. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, July 14, 2014 at 10:00 AM in the Wakelee Memorial Funeral Home, 167 Wakelee Avenue, Ansonia. Interment will follow in Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Derby.
