A grandma is someone who you can look up to and say I want to be just like you. That is what you were. Someone who I would want to be like. Someone strong, loving, and caring. You showed us that by how you raised up your children. You taught them to be just like you. We all know that when it is our time to go you will be there welcoming us into your new home. We will gladly come, just so we can be with you. So in all of this I know you would not want us to grieve for a long time.. but we will grieve for a while. And soon most of the grandchildren that you have will be mothers or fathers and then they will turn into grandparents. And you children will come back to you... all of them including grandchildren and great grandchildren. and we will turn into that loving, caring, happy family, that we are. My Mother, was a very loving,caring person. I will love her for the rest of my life. She will be deeply missed by her family. She never asked for anything, her joy on this earth was her family. I have faith in the Lord we will see each other again. I know she knew we all loved her, and like a loving Mother want's her family to carry on her love to each other, and our children. Mildred J.Papa, my Gramdma, was the nicest person I have ever met.I can still remember those long summer days where we would spend hours playing cards. I still remeber how when I was sick, she would meet my every need, my every want. My only regret is that I did not spend her last hours with her.

What I remember most was other's reaction to the term " mother-in-law". I couldn't relate to the negativity because my "mother-in-law" was not like the others. And in my darkest hours, I was treated with dignity and respect. My fondest memory of all.
