Obituary of Bohdan Dziubina

Dziubina- Bohdan J. Dziubina, age 87, beloved husband of Henrica "Rachel" Mertens Dziubina of Ansonia, entered into eternal rest on October 23, 2013, with his family by his side. Born in Ukraine on April 13, 1926, he was the son of the late Teodore and Olha Czobotar Dziubina. Mr. Dziubina was a lifelong member of Sts. Peter and Paul Church and worked as the Art Director of the Eastern Press Co. of New Haven for many years until his retirement. In addition to his wife of 65 years, he is survived by his devoted sons, Vladimir "Walt" Dziubina and his wife Karen of Ansonia and Pierre Dziubina and his wife, Cheryl of Shelton; sister, Daria Bystrianyk and her husband, Wasil of Orange; cherished grandsons, Christopher Dziubina and his wife Michelle, and Jason Dziubina and his wife Victoria, Michael and Matthew Dziubina; great-grandsons, Christopher and Preston Dziubina; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Irene Mandicz. A Mass of Christian Burial, MEETING DIRECTLY AT CHURCH, will be celebrated on Saturday, October 26, 2013 at 10:00 AM, in Sts. Peter and Paul Church, 105 Clifton Ave., Ansonia. Interment will follow in Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery.
