Obituary of Maricruz Hardi
Maricruz Hardi, age 34, of Seymour, died Sunday, October 13, 2013 at Griffin Hospital following a sudden illness. Born in Puerto Rico on August 4, 1979, she was the beloved daughter of Ana C. Ruiz Hardi of Ansonia and the late Electo Hardi. Miss Hardi worked as a Domestic Reservation Agent for American Airlines and was very proud of her Dominican heritage. She was a founding member and acting president of "Fatty Problems" a social club for oversized individuals. In addition to her mother, she is survived by a sister, Elvira Baez and her fiancé Ronald Nadeau of Glastonbury; brother, Rodolfo Hardi of Hartford; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by a sister, Ana Maria Meilan. Family and friends may call on Friday, October 18, 2013, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the Wakelee Memorial Funeral Home, 167 Wakelee Ave., Ansonia. A celebration of her life will take place at 6:30 PM. Interment will be private.
