Obituary of Sharon Kopchik

Sharon E. Kopchik, age 68 of Brighton, MA, formerly of Ansonia, died peacefully on July 25, 2013. Born in Derby on February 9, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Mary Novak Kopchik. A longtime Ansonia resident, Miss Kopchik was a graduate of Lauralton Hall Academy and Salve Regina College. She worked for over 30 years as a private duty nurse until the time of her retirement. A pious woman of devout faith, she was a lifelong member of Sts. Peter and Paul Church of Ansonia and Christ the King Church of Boston. She is survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Michael Kopchik. A Mass of Christian Burial, MEETING DIRECTLY AT CHURCH, will be celebrated on Monday, July 29, 2013 at 10:00 AM in Sts. Peter and Paul Church, 105 Clifton Ave., Ansonia. Interment will follow in Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Derby. Memorial contributions may be made to the Sts. Peter and Paul Preservation Fund.
