Obituary of Kenneth Pecylak

PECYLAK- Kenneth W. Pecylak, age 62, beloved husband of Mara Williams Pecylak of Riverview, FL, died March 14, 2013 at the Hospice House of Ruskin, FL. Born in Derby on February 18, 1951, he was the son of the late Paul and Helen Zuraw Pecylak. Mr. Pecylak was raised in Shelton and graduated from Shelton High School in 1969. He graduated from the University of Tampa in 1973 and worked as a school teacher for the Hillsborough County School System of Florida for 40 years. In addition to his wife of 30 years, he is survived by a son, Joseph P. Pecylak of FL; a sister, Jacqueline P. Carey and her husband, Ray of FL; a niece, Samantha Carey of FL and a great nephew, Aidyn of FL. He is also survived by numerous cousins of the Burns, Dripchak, Wolniak, Pecylak, Zuraw and Sadlowski families of the valley. A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 22, 2013 at 1:00 PM in Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Derby. The Wakelee Memorial Funeral Home, 167 Wakelee Ave., is in care of arrangements.
