Obituary of Donald Dziadik
DZIADIK – Donald W. Dziadik, age 83 of Seymour, beloved husband of late Evelyn Schyler White Dziadik, died March 17, 2013 in the Shady Knoll Health Center, Seymour. Born in Seymour on January 14, 1930, he was the son of the late John and Paiza Barna Dziadik. Mr. Dziadik was a lifelong resident of Seymour, graduate of Seymour High School and a U.S. Air Force Veteran of the Korean War. Following his discharge from active service in the Air Force, Mr. Dziadik served three years in the U.S. Army National Guard. He worked as a millwright for the Kerite Company of Seymour for 36 years, until his retirement in 1985. Mr. Dziadik was an avid sportsman and was inducted into the CT Slow Pitch Softball Hall of Fame. He was a member of the Seymour McDonald's Morning Coffee Club. He is survived his children, Donna Carreiro and her fiancé, Thomas Cassel of Seymour and John David Dziadik of Beacon Falls; grandchildren, Jason Carreiro of Houston, TX and Debra Dziadik of Ft. Myers, FL; as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife of 52 years, he was predeceased by his twin brother, David J. Dziadik and sisters, Martha Gregos, Sally Bendler and Mary Koalchic. A graveside service with Military Honors will be held on Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at 11:00 AM in Sts.
