Obituary of Maggie Cappiello

CAPPIELLO- Maggie S. Cappiello, age 65, beloved wife of Tony Cappiello of Monroe, died peacefully January 4, 2013 in the comfort of her home, surrounded by her family. Born in Brooklyn, NY on August 17, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Miguel and Soledad Torres Velez. Mrs. Cappiello worked as a hairdresser for the Frank Scott Salon and Daniel Caruso Salon, both of Westport, before becoming the Office Manager for the family business, Cappiello Contracting. She was a lifelong Jehovah's Witness, belonging to the Monroe Congregation of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses for over 43 years. An amazing and kind hearted woman, she possessed a zest for life, an infectious laugh and touched the hearts of all who knew her. She enjoyed teaching others about the Bible and living her faith by example. In addition to her husband of 43 years, she is survived by her devoted daughter, Tamara Wilson and her husband, Jason of Oxford; cherished granddaughters, Ariana and Ella Wilson of Oxford; sister and friend, Nydia Sape and her husband, Michael, of Stratford and loyal german shepherd, Nila. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, January 12, 2013 in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 211 Spring Hill Rd., Trumbull. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
