Obituary of Andrew Baran

BARAN- Andrew J. Baran, Jr., age 64, beloved husband of Nancy A. Allen Baran of Oxford, died March 7, 2008. Born in Bridgeport on October 9, 1943, he was the son of the late Andrew J. and Mary Bulbert Baran, Sr. Mr. Baran worked as a Master Tool and Die Maker for machine shops in Derby, Thomaston and Stratford. He was an avid Yankees fan and dog lover, especially fond of his rotweiler Sheba. In addition to his wife of 43 years, he is survived by his devoted children, Andrew J. Baran III and his fianc, Tammy of MD, Colleen E. Baran of Oxford, Michael J. Baran and his wife Tracey of Ansonia, and Thomas J. Baran of Oxford; cherished grandchildren, Cadeena, Amanda, Michael, Zachary and Gannon Baran; as well as his mother-in-law, Helen Allen of Fairfield. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, March 12, 2008 at 7:00 PM in the Wakelee Memorial Funeral Home, 167 Wakelee Avenue, Ansonia. Family and friends may call from 5:00 PM to 7:00PM.
