Obituary of MaryAnn Linnane

LINNANE- MaryAnn Elizabeth Linnane, age 66 of Derby, wife of the late John P. Linnane, Sr., died peacefully on August 24, 2011 at Griffin Hospital with her family by her side. Born in Bronx, NY on August 30, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Agnes Bonelli Steiner. Mrs. Linnane resided in Monroe for over 20 years before moving to Shelton and then Derby in 1999. She worked as an accounts payable clerk for the R.C. Bigelow Co. of Fairfield for over 15 years, earning her teapot pin for years of dedicated service. She is survived by her cherished and devoted children, Susan Mary Linnane and John Patrick Linnane, Jr., both of Derby; sister, Joan Morck of Shelton; brother, Robert Steiner and his wife, Cathy of WA; as well as several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will take place on Tuesday, August 28, 2012 at 7:00 PM in the Wakelee Memorial Funeral Home, 167 Wakelee Ave., Ansonia. Interment will be private.
