Obituary of Steven Gentle

GENTLE- Steven D. Gentle, age 50 of Derby, died January 26, 2011, at Griffin Hospital. Born in Stamford on May 12, 1960, he was the son of Raymond Gentle, Sr. of PA and the late June Smith Gentle. Mr. Gentle was a resident of Stratford, Norwalk and Stamford before moving to Derby three years ago. He worked as a customer service representative for Cityline Distributors for many years, until the time of his illness. He was an avid bowler and NY Met fan. In addition to his father, he is survived by brothers and sisters, Brenda Cottrell and her husband, James of Derby, Marilyn Hazel and her husband, James of MO, Raymond Gentle, Jr. of NH, Robert Gentle, Sr. and his wife, Doreen of Bristol, Wayne Gentle, Sr. of Norwalk and Jonathan Gentle of PA; as well as many nieces and nephews. Spring time burial will be at the convenience of the family. The Wakelee Memorial Funeral Home, 167 Wakelee Ave., Ansonia is in care of arrangements.
