Obituary of Sally Pagano
Sally Pagano, of Shelton, died July 9, 2009. Born in Derby, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Victoria Piekarczyk Kapusta. Ms. Pagano worked as a secretary for the City of Derby in the Housing Dept. for many years until her retirement. She was a devout member of St. Lawrence Church of Shelton and an active volunteer at VARCA. She is survived by a sister, Ruth Lemchak and her husband, Joseph of Oxford; special nieces, Susan lemchak and Patrice Kamins, both of NY and Janice Fama of MA; a special nephew, Joseph Lemchak, Jr. of NY; as well as many other nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her infant son, Freddy Pagano; sister, Gladys Zyla; and brothers, Ted, John, Edward, and Charles Kapusta. A private memorial service will be held in the Wakelee Memorial Funeral Home, 167 Wakelee Ave., Ansonia. Inurnment will directly follow in Mount Saint Peter Cemetery, Derby.
