Obituary of Anna Pelesh

PELESH- Anna Pelesh, age 96, of Easton, beloved wife of the late Julius Pelesh, died March 20, 2012 at Cambridge Manor, Fairfield. Born in Brooklyn, NY on February 13, 1916, she was the daughter of the late John and Dorothy Yustin Kalakoca. Mrs. Pelesh was a long time resident of Seymour before moving to Easton 7 years ago. She was a lifelong member of Three Saints Orthodox Church where she belonged to the Ladies Aid. Prior to retirement, Mrs. Pelesh worked for the Waterman / Bic Pen Co. and U.S. Rubber Co. She is survived by her devoted daughter, Carol Revak and her husband, George of Easton; cherished grandchildren, Sharon Aiello and her husband Paul Aiello, MD of Fairfield, Atty. Pamela Revak Cartier and her husband Stephen Cartier, PhD. of NC, Linda Holden and her husband, Brian of Fairfield, Katherine Sheehan and her husband, Daniel Sheehan, MD of SC; 5 great-grandchildren; 3 nieces and nephews and a sister-in-law Anne Kalako of Seymour. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a brother Peter Kalako. Funeral services will take place on Thursday, March 22, 2012, at 10:00 AM Meeting Directly at Three Saints Orthodox Church, 26 Howard Ave., Ansonia. Interment will follow in Three Saints Cemetery, Derby. Family and friends may call at Church on Thursday morning from 9:00 to 10:00 AM prior to service. Memorial contributions may be made to Three Saints Orthodox Church. The Wakelee Memorial Funeral Home, 167 Wakelee Ave., Ansonia, is in care of arrangements.
