Obituary of Dorothy Watson

WATSON-Dorothy Elizabeth Watson, age 82, of Ansonia, beloved wife of the late Frank J. Watson, died January 1, 2012 at the Hewitt Health and Rehab Center, Shelton. Born in Seymour on July 25, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Mary Kobasiar Medak. Mrs. Watson was a homemaker and lifelong member of Sts. Peter and Paul Church. She worked was a house keeper for Griffin Hospital for ten years, prior to retirement. She is survived by her devoted children, William Watson of FL and Janice Drury and her husband, Al of Ansonia; cherished grandchildren, Valerie Watson of LA, Frank Watson of FL and James Watson of Ansonia. Funeral services will take place on Friday, January 6, 2012, at 10:00 AM from the Wakelee Memorial Funeral Home, 167 Wakelee Ave., Ansonia. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 11:00 AM in Sts. Peter and Paul Church, 105 Clifton Ave., Ansonia. Interment will be in Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Derby. Family and friends may call on Thursday, January 5, 2012 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM, Panikhida at 6:00 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to the Sts. Peter and Paul Preservation Fund.
