Obituary of Rinaldo Botti

BOTTI - Rinaldo "Arnie" Botti, age 72, beloved husband of Jane Danko Botti of Ansonia, died December 29, 2010, in the comfort of his home, surrounded by his family and friends. Born in Parma, Italy on February 28, 1938, he was the son of the late Lino and Teresa Botti. Mr. Botti was a longtime resident of Ansonia and a proud U.S. Air Force Veteran. In 1970, he founded Botti Realty of Derby and continued to work until his final days. In addition to his wife of 44 years, he is survived by his devoted children, Brian M. Botti of Ansonia, Bruce A. Botti and his wife Charlotte of Shelton, Brent L. Botti and his wife Cindy of Cheshire, and Beth A. Botti Esposito and her husband David of North Haven; his sister, Marisa Walkley of Derby; his cherished grandchildren, Madison and Reagan Botti of Shelton, Rocco and Cosimo Botti of Cheshire and Teresa Esposito of North Haven; as well as two nieces and one nephew. A Mass of Christian Burial, MEETING DIRECTLY AT CHURCH, will be celebrated on Monday, January 3, 2011, at 10:00 AM in Holy Rosary Church, Father Salemi Dr., Ansonia. Military Honors will be accorded following Mass. Interment will be private. Family and friends may call on Sunday, January 2, 2011, from 12:00 Noon to 5:00 PM at the Wakelee Memorial Funeral Home, 167 Wakelee Ave., Ansonia.
