Obituary of Patricia Schulte
SCHULTE- Patricia Carol Schulte, age 64, beloved wife of Willard C. Schulte of Shelton died peacefully August 5, 2010 surrounded by her loving family at the Hospital for Special Care, New Britain. Born in Derby on April 26, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Walter J. and Lorraine Karpenko Lenart. In addition to her husband of 45 years, she is survived by her devoted children, Bonnie of Madison, Wisconsin, Gregory of Greenwich, and Gary of Milford and their spouses Sarah, Mary Alice and Patricia; her cherished grandchildren Jake, Vincent, Gary, Jr. and Lia Schulte; her dear sister Barbara Dojnia of Shelton; and many beloved nieces and nephews. Mrs. Schulte was a graduate of Shelton High School and a lifelong resident of Derby and Shelton. She worked as an expediter for Sikorsky for 29 years until her retirement in 2006. She was a Steward of Teamsters Local 1150 and volunteered in youth organizations through the years including the Girls Scouts of America and Shelton Youth Girls' Softball. After her retirement, Patty was a member of the Sikorsky Retirement Club and maintained an active lifestyle including hours spent with her grandchildren, keeping her home and garden, traveling to Disney World and enjoying country music. Funeral services will take place on August 9, 2010 at 9:00 AM, from the Wakelee Memorial Funeral Home, 167 Wakelee Ave., Ansonia. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM in the Seymour Congregational Church, 45 Broad Street, Seymour. Interment will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Ansonia. Family and friends may call on Sunday, August 8, 2010 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM.
