Obituary of Mary Ann Kezelevich

Mary Kezelevich, a lifelong Valley resident, passed away peacefully on December 13, 2024, at the age of 81. Born on April 9, 1943, to the late Michael Vaughan and Julia (Fogerty) Vaughan, she was a vibrant and loving woman who cherished her family, friends and pets.

Mary was a devoted mother and grandmother. She loved to sing and dance and was often the life of the party. She enjoyed watching football and wouldn’t miss her Kansas City Chiefs games. Her favorite pastimes were traveling with her young kids to the beaches and amusement parks of New England and gardening.

Mary is survived by her children: Michael Kezelevich, Mary-Ellen (Kezelevich) Bostic, and Edward Kezelevich; brothers Thomas Vaughan (Mary Jane) and Gerald Vaughan (Phyllis); grandchildren Maryssa (Jonny), Cassandra, Deanna, Ashley (Randall), Zachary, and Michael; and great-grandchildren Savannah, Chloe, Adagio, Mathias, Elijah, Christopher, and Cyrus. She was predeceased by her parents Michael and Julia and brother, Donald Vaughan (Betty).

To know Mary was to love her, and she will be deeply missed by so many. May God bless her and keep her.  Funeral services are private.  The Wakelee Memorial Funeral Home, 167 Wakelee Avenue, Ansonia, is in care of arrangements.  Memorial Contributions may be made to the Ansonia Animal Shelter, Division Street, Ansonia, CT 06401 or St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.  Online Condolences may be made at www.wakeleememorial.com.
