Obituary of Todd Linnen
LINNEN- Todd Michael Linnen, age 42, beloved husband of Candace Smith Linnen of Shelton, died April 10, 2010 at Griffin Hospital surrounded by his family following a brief illness. Born in Bridgeport on September 12, 1967, he was the son of John R. and Barbara A. Carroll Linnen of Bridgeport. Mr. Linnen was a longtime resident of Bridgeport and Fairfield before moving to Shelton 17 years ago. Together with his wife, he owned and operated the Value Machinery Co. of Milford. His interests included boating, fishing, golf and camping. He especially enjoyed spending quality time with his wife and children at the family's camp on the CT River. He will be long remembered for his unending love of his children, his cheerful spirit, business acumen and genuine good heartedness. In addition to his parents and wife of 17 years, he is survived by his cherished daughters, Amanda M. Targowski, Kylie M. Linnen, and Madison M. Linnen, all of Shelton; sisters, Barbara (Jose) Calvo of CO, Doreen (Gabe) Torok of Naugatuck; brother, John (Marilyn) Linnen of Bridgeport; grandmother-in-law, Reletta "Ma" Hellrigel of Shelton; mother-in-law, Donna (Mark Fiorini) Smith of Shelton; sister-in-law, Kristy (John) Brown of Milford; brother-in-law, Brian (Lyndi) Smith of LA; special nieces and nephews, Barbara, Jessica (Dave), Danielle, Kyle, Michael (Allison), Hunter, Jillian and J.R., as well as great nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial, MEETING DIRECTLY AT CHURCH, will be celebrated in St. Stephen Church, 6948 Main St., Trumbull, on Wednesday, April 14, 2010 at 10:15 AM. Interment will directly follow in St. John Cemetery, Monroe. Family and friends may call on Tuesday, April 13, 2010 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM in the Wakelee Memorial Funeral Home, 167 Wakelee Ave., Ansonia.
