Obituary of Teddiann McGowan

Teddiann McGowan, age 56 of Milford, died August 20, 2015 at the Smilow Cancer Hospital at Yale New Haven. Born in Meriden, she was the daughter of Mary Ellen Zecca Gingras of Middletown and the late Henry Frank Gingras, Sr. Ms. McGowan worked as a self-employed housekeeper and formerly was employed as a railway worker with the Metro North Railroad. She enjoyed sunbathing, the beach and camping at the Riverdale Farm Campsite, Clinton. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her devoted daughters, Heather J. McGowan and Amanda M. McGowan, both of Guilford; stepsons, Chris Hubbell and William Bolton, both of Milford; a sister, Catherine Martha Gecheran of Middletown; her companion of 10 years, Charles “Chuck” Hubbell of Milford, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Donnamarie E. Gingras and brother, Henry Frank Gingras, Jr. Funeral services are private. The Wakelee Memorial Funeral Home, 167 Wakelee Avenue is in care of arrangements.
