Obituary of Mildred Wadyka

Mildred Wadyka, age 91 of Derby, died peacefully on December 11, 2016 at the Hewitt Health and Rehab Center, Shelton. Born in Ansonia on October 10, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Pachomi and Mary Spak Wadyka. Miss Wadyka was employed by the World Color Presses Co. of Bridgeport for over 24 years, until the time of her retirement in 1990. She was a lifelong member of Sts. Peter and Paul Church, the Ansonia & Derby Senior Centers and enjoyed trips to the casinos. She is survived by a cousin, Mildred Pawlak of Seymour and a dear friend, Pauline Monaco of Derby. A Mass of Christian Burial, Meeting Directly At Church, will be Celebrated at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, December 14, 2016 in Sts. Peter and Paul Church, 105 Clifton Ave., Ansonia. Interment will follow in Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Derby. The Wakelee Memorial Funeral Home, 167 Wakelee Avenue, Ansonia is in care of arrangements.
