Patrick Kundert

Obituary of Patrick John Kundert

Patrick John “Kundaar” Kundert, age 54 of Naugatuck, died November 28, 2019 at Waterbury Hospital, with his family by his side.  Born in Bridgeport on October 10, 1965, he was the son of the late William Kundert and Dorothy Ann Jordan Barron.  Pat was a lover of all music and played the guitar and drums. He was a huge NASCAR fan and enjoyed NFL Football; the Buffalo Bills was his favorite team.  He was the owner and operator of Eastside Hardscapes of Milford, as well as the co- owner of Shoreline Hardscapes of Wallingford. He was devoted to his businesses and customers for many years, providing quality landscaping and stonework. He truly enjoyed the intricate challenges of creating one of a kind stone walls, fire pits, and patios.

Pat was great at greeting everyone he saw with “hey man!”   If you were having a bad day, he listened, but he’d finish the conversation saying… “It’s your life, so what are you going to do?”  If you asked him for advice when he was having a bad day, he would tell you… “It’s my life, don’t you worry about me.”  Pat cared about everyone and he smiled through most everything. Pat loved with his whole heart; there was nothing he would not do for his family and friends. He always found time for those in need, especially for his family.

He is survived by his wife, Sheila Vincent and their three children, Jasmine Kundert, and Jennifer Kundert of Naugatuck and Christopher Vincent and his wife Natalie, of Beacon Falls; a sister, Eileen Richardson and her husband John; and a brother, Kevin Kundert, all of Milford.  He will be missed by his grandchildren; nieces and nephews; cousins; aunts and uncles; friends; business associates and many others.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by an older brother, Michael Kundert and his dog, Kyle (who was his best friend).

The family will be holding a private memorial service. The Wakelee Memorial Funeral Home, 167 Wakelee Avenue, Ansonia, CT is in care of arrangements.  Online condolences may be made at www.wakeleememorial.com.
