Obituary of Susanne Marie Andrews

Susanne Marie Andrews, age 52, beloved wife of Todd A. Andrews of Seymour, died peacefully surrounded by her family on April 19, 2019 at Yale New Haven Hospital.  Born in Derby on August 23, 1966, she was the daughter of the late Bobby Lee and Julia Syrotiak Withrow.  Mrs. Andrews was raised in Derby and was a 1985 graduate of Derby High School and of Lincoln Technical Institute.  She was employed by Philips Medical of Shelton and the Seymour Public School System, prior to working as a Registered Medical Assistant for Drs. Nerzig and Spear of Southbury.  Music and dance were her passion and she enjoyed participating in local community theater productions.  Mrs. Andrews was an avid gardener, always tending to her flower beds at her home and was a lover of animals, especially her pets. Together with her family, she spent many summers enjoying Vermont.  In addition to her husband of 29 years, she is survived by her cherished   children   of   whom   she   was   so   proud,   Michael Andrews and Nicole Andrews of Seymour; sisters, Denise Sura of Naugatuck, Donna (Stanley) Lisewski of Oxford; and a brother, Martin (Gayle) Withrow of Tully, NY; as well as several nieces and nephews.  Funeral services will take place on Friday, April 26, 2019, Meeting Directly at Trinity Episcopal Church, 91 Church St., Seymour for a Requiem Eucharist Service at 10:00 AM.  Interment will follow in Trinity Cemetery, Seymour.   Family and friends may call on Thursday, April 25, 2019, from 4:00 to 7:00   PM   at   the Wakelee Memorial Funeral Home,   167   Wakelee Avenue, Ansonia.
