Cioci Irene was always warm and generous to me, my parents and my children. She never hesitated to offer her help, whether it was a meal, a favor, or merely an encouraging word. Despite her personal battles with illness and injury, she found a way to see hope or joy or humor in any situation. The world was a better place with her in it and now heaven is. We’ll miss you, Cioci Irene.
