Obituary of Richard Michael Fuller

Richard Michael Fuller, age 69, of Derby, beloved husband of Susan Weimer Fuller, died peacefully on September 12, 2018 at Griffin Hospital.  Mr. Fuller was born in North Kingston, RI on July 9, 1949, son of the late Richard E and Anna Dainiak Fuller.  Mr. Fuller was a proud U.S. Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War, resided in Derby for 32 years and worked as an Inventory Planner in the Electrical Manufacturing field, until the time of his retirement.  He was an avid bowler, proud of achieving his perfect game of 300.  Mr. Fuller participated in many area tournaments at Valley Bowl and Milford Lanes. He attained a brown belt in karate and loved animals, especially his furry family of cats.  In addition to his beloved wife of 43 years, he is survived by father-in-law, John Weimer of FL; sister-in-law, Nancy (Larry) Loomis of FL; brother-in-law, Robert (Dawn) Weimer of FL; and several nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by sister, Katherine Fuller. Family and friends may call on Saturday, September 15, 2018, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the Wakelee Memorial Funeral Home, 167 Wakelee Avenue, Ansonia.   Interment will be private.  Memorial contributions may be made to Griffin Hospital Development Fund, 130 Division Street, Derby, CT 06418.  Online condolences may be made at www.wakeleememorial.com.
