I have had the privilege to call Jon one of my best friends for almost 40 years and have shed many tears since being notified of his passing. Although I have lived in Texas for ten years I was fortunate to see Jon every time I came back home. I have a picture of Jon with myself and some other of his "Brothers" taken a few years ago on the wall of my workshop. I can say may things about Jon but most of all he was a great guy and loved by all of us. I will miss him greatly and he was taken from us too soon. I am sure that he is with God and will look down on us with fond memories. Keep On Truckin MH.
I tried very hard to get back east for the service but it was impossible at such short notice. Please make sure my other Brass City Trucker brothers know I am thinking of them and miss them also.
