Obituary of Kevin Czesnowski

CZESNOWSKI- Officer Kevin Patrick Czesnowski, age 28, of Hamden, died January 6, 2008. Born in Bridgeport on December 8, 1979, he was the beloved son of John J. and Carlene Walsh Czesnowski of Branford. Officer Czesnowski was a 1998 Graduate of Amity Regional High School and 2003 Graduate of University of New Hampshire, where he was a brother of the Phi Mu Delta Fraternity. Officer Czesnowski was a Graduate of the CT Police Academy, Post 307 in 2006; and served the Town of Orange as a Police Officer. He was a passionate dog lover, especially his canine companions Pinot and Sammy, and an enthusiastic fan of the Mets and the Jets. He enjoyed water sports including boating and jet skiing, as well as classic car restoration. He was an avid alpine skier and was the Assistant Coach of the Amity High School Ski Team. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his maternal grandmother, Phyllis Thomas Walsh of Trumbull; brother, Adam J. Czesnowski of VA; sister, Amy M. Czesnowski of NV; as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins. Officer Czesnowski is also survived by his beloved companion Melissa L. Pytlak of Hamden. A Mass of Christian Burial, MEETING DIRECTLY AT CHURCH, will be celebrated on Thursday, January 10, 2008 at 12:00 Noon, in St. Marys Church, 70 Gulf Street, Milford. Interment will be in Mount Saint Peters Cemetery, Derby. Family and friends may call on Wednesday, January 9, 2008, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM in the Smith and Sefcik Funeral Home, 135 Broad Street on the Green, Milford.
